Second Safety Day Do you enjoy the thought of backcountry skiing or heading off-piste in Europe? If so, the AST level 1 is a must! During the course, you’ll learn to recognise avalanche terrain, understand the avalanche forecast, plan your trips, and perform a companion rescue with a variety of search and rescue techniques.

Understanding the landscape, especially as a backcountry skier, is essential to support yourself when skiing, to stay safe, and to avoid danger.

1 x Zoom session and 1 x field day of vital learning to understand how to be a valued member of your group when things go wrong.
